WHY THE NAME WESTBOUND GEAR?
It is a play on the thru hiker lingo: NOBO/SOBO: Northbound hikers and Southbound hikers. Since we originate in CA, we found it appropriate to name ourselves WEBO! 

 

CAN I CUSTOMIZE A GEAR FROM WESTBOUND GEAR?
For now no, but it is something that is planned for the future. 

 

DO YOU MAKE BACKPACKS?
Not right now, we are currently focused on making UL accessories. In the future, that might be something we're interested in! 

 

CAN I GET A REFUND?
At this moment, the shop does not offer returns or refunds. Exceptions may apply: If they arrive damaged, beyond any possible use, please reach out via e-mail or through Contact us page. Westbound Gear will coordinate a replacement. 

 

SHIPPING USA ONLY?
At this moment, the shop is only doing domestic shipping in the USA. Because we are a small shop, we are trying our best to work with what we can. As we grow in the future, we plan to expand our shipping also! If you are still interested in our products, our friends at Garage Grown Gear sell our products internationally! 

 

THE STORE IS EMPTY?
You are right. Westbound Gear is normally a one person operating shop. Which is doing designing, patterning, cutting, sewing, QA, packaging, social network, etc. Store will be updated in bulk. You can check on the homepage or Instagram for the next announcement for the store update.

 

CAN I PURCHASE A GIFT CARD?
At this moment, we do not have gift cards. We are hoping to switch websites in the future if we do not see any further updates from them.
